Short and sweet, this project was a simple menu design for the clients cafe whom I met whilst having coffee in a separate business they also happened to manage at the time! After an hour long discussion about the business, his requirements and ideas for the artistic direction of the menu, we researched inspiration from similarly styled venues. Given the name of the cafe (The Greenhouse) we opted for a simple, white menu framed with various types of flora.
The project ran for about 2 weeks with the design nailed reasonably quickly. Much of the time was spent editing listed menu tems, tweaking prices and reorganising the structure of content sections. For ease of production, we opted to print the menus on low cost course paper and present the menu on A5 clipboards.
Sadly as this is an older project I no longer have higher resolution images of the final outcome.
